Want more information? Use the web to search for high-frequency and tricky words, speaking and listening activities and sound games, some of which are interactive and downloadable. If you haven’t got internet access at home, your local library can help.
If you want to know more about how children learn, sites such as the National Literacy Strategy, Early Years Foundation Stage will tell you more. Jolly Phonics, a scheme that many schools follow, also has lots of information plus a free guide for download.
