LeapFrog Educational Toys

All About LeapFrog

When our founder Michael Wood couldn’t find the products he needed to help his struggling son learn to read, he decided to make his own educational toys and, before he knew it, LeapFrog Toys was born.

That was back in 1995. Since then, LeapFrog has developed a whole family of learning products introducing subjects like phonics, reading, writing, maths, music, geography, vocabulary and more. We’ve also created more than 35 stand-alone educational products for children aged 6 months and up and our vision is to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

We work very closely with a number of experts as part of our advisory board who give us their invaluable input when we’re developing new toys.
